An Accounts Payable (AP) role involves managing the financial transactions related to a company%27s outstanding liabilities and ensuring timely payments to vendors, suppliers, and other creditors.The responsibilities and tasks associated with the AP associateis Invoice Processing, Payments, T&E, Month end reporting and Helpdesk.
Responsibilities- Manual Indexing, Invoice processing, basis the input received from supplier.
- Maintain exception logs for process related exception as and when they occur for knowledge retention.
- Independently perform transactional tasks which support the compliance, planning and execution of assigned processes.
- Process payments to vendors through various methods (checks, ACH, wire transfers).
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Review and process employee expense reports.
- Verify receipts and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and complete SOP&rsquos or Process manual as per Client & Process requirements.
- Adhere the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities.
- Perform daily internal audit to ensure all Invoices handled as per the guidelines.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate in Commerce (B. Com)
- Relevant work experience on Accounts payable transactional activities
- Strong English language skills (verbal and written)
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable (IP, Payments Processing, T&E booking)
- Preferred Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and MS Office
- Good communication skills
