Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to lead sales efforts within a specific area. You will be responsible for managing a team of Assistant Area Sales Managers and Territory Sales Managers, driving sales targets, and expanding market presence.

This role requires a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, along with proven team management skills and a strong understanding of sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Lead and manage a team of Assistant Area Sales Managers and Territory Sales Managers.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide coaching for team success.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide guidance on complex sales situations and negotiations.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and customer needs to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers for retention and satisfaction.

Territory Management:

  • Define sales territories and allocate resources to maximize coverage.
  • Monitor performance and implement strategies to improve sales results.

Sales Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate sales forecasts, performance dashboards, and market analyses.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform pricing models and promotional activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and sales forecasting.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned area.
  • A valid drivers license and knowledge of the job location area.

Pay: 500,000.00 - 750,000.00 per year
