An Oracle Principal SOA/FMW administrator is expected to possess strong infrastructure and consulting skills and contribute to the SOA/FWM infrastructure setup, installation, configuration and support. The candidate must be open to work on 24x7 projects in any of the assigned shifts

  • Lead and deliver complex OCI projects, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Co-ordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex infrastructure and application-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and disruptions.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with OCI architecture and build, deploy core OCI services/components.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Oracle SOA Suite and MW platforms including Oracle Integration Cloud.
  • Solid hands-on experience in Middleware environment administration (Install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration & monitoring) on middleware platforms such as Oracle SOA, ODI, MFT & OIC.
  • Architect/manage Oracle IaaS/PaaS/SaaS platforms.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle Database, Oracle Exadata, Oracle RAC/ASM, Data guard, Backup & Recovery etc.
  • Strong DBA Performance tuning skills.
  • Solid hands-on experience in installation, configuration, performance tuning and troubleshooting of Oracle GoldenGate.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and design reviews to ensure solutions are robust and scalable.
  • Stay updated on the latest OCI features and best practices to continuously improve solution designs.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking and decision-making abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues without intervention of in-line manager.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate and inspire a team, and lead team of different skillsets.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity/Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability and interest to research and develop internal capability solutions and methodologies.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms (eg. AWS/Azure)
  • Experience in any Retail products administration like MOM,RIB,MDO.

Responsibilities

As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management.

Further, the Advisory Systems Engineer is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.
