Role: GM Sales, National Key Account Manager

Location: Delhi NCR

Responsibilities:

  1. The National Key Account Manager shall be responsible for meeting the assigned target for share of business & growth in the assigned Key account customers. He/she shall act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the set of national Key Accounts.
  2. He/she will continuously interact with customers and visit them periodically to understand customer requirements & focus on significant unmet needs' and provide solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the company.
  3. He/she will formulate customer stickiness and retention strategies. He/she will strive to cover a major portion of his/her sales through MOUs/LTCs to improve customer service as well as better mill loading.
  4. He/She will treat customer feedback/complaints with respect, urgency and seriousness/ He will always close the loop and keep the key stakeholders posted.
  5. He/she should interact closely with the BU heads and the sales team to work out a system to prioritize the orders of Key accounts and let customers clearly know our priority system. Basis of Priority shall be: Customer urgency/our commitment, financial impact, long term relationship impact.
  6. He/she will continuously work with all key stakeholders like Plant/mill heads, Marketing co-ordination & PPC and logistics team to provide timely service of customer requirements. He will formulate strategies and co-ordinate with Key stakeholders to ensure 100% OTIF and customer delight to all the Key accounts assigned.
  7. He/she should have a clear understanding of the complete plant production process, capabilities & constraints. He/she will make periodic visits to the plant to understand new developments in the plant, meet the key stakeholders and discuss ways to improve customer service/satisfaction. He/she should also ensure that the key team members also visit the plant regularly.
  8. He /She should have clear knowledge of company policies and delegation of financial power and ensure complete compliance to the same.

Qualifications/ Skills:

  • B.E./B. Tech. Preferably in Metallurgy or Mechanical or/and MBA in Sales & marketing
  • Minimum 15 Years experience in Sales & marketing, preferably in steel and /or Industrial product industries.
  • Must possess a unique blend of business and technical acumen, innovative and big-picture vision, as well as the drive to make the vision a reality.
  • Process driven, with strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Passion to understand the market and business needs and create innovative solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team and Key stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to solutions for customers as well as the team.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and team leadership skills.
