You support our team as
Assistant Manager Purchase
Responsibilities- Ensure timely delivery of all direct materials to the production line without line and flow disturbance.
- Managing inventory levels of supplies material via tradeoffs and balances to minimize inventory costs and space utilization.
- SAP MRP culture driven approach for effective and productive decisions in operational basis as well as for replenishment process.
- Timely booking of invoices, Payables, purchase returns to suppliers, purchasing parameters set up in SAP, purchasing data hygiene maintained in SAP ERP.
- Supplier agreements, Negotiation on delivery, prices, MOU Qty's on operational basis.
- Participate in stock take activities as well as subcontractors materials/moulds reconcilation as per accounting need.
- To Study existing Purchase life cycle process and to propose best possible cycle for effective run of purchase function.
- B.E. Mech/ Plastics Eng with MBA is preferable.
- Min 8 years job experience in purchase function preferably in consumer goods industries.
- Preferable to have Inventory management certification.
- Very good at Microsoft office productivity tools like Excel, word, power point, Outlook, one notes.
- Knowledge in SAP, SAP MRP.
- Very good Communication skills
