Footwear Designer - Specialist

Responsibilities-

Design Support:

Research and forecast seasonal trends, align them with the current market

dynamics to optimize the development of creative concepts.

Collaborate with design head to formulate concepts and translate them into

digital designs and physical prototypes

Develop designs in accordance with Neeman's brand guidelines.

Material and Technology Research:

Research materials, construction methods, and production processes to

optimize development of products.

Assist in exploring innovative concepts in sustainable development and

footwear technologies to enhance future developments.

Illustrate and Prototype:

Create illustrations utilizing design softwares and collaborate with the design

head for sign-offs.

Transcend approved designs to physical prototypes in collaboration with the

merchandising team.

Work and collaborate within the business teams to execute & deliver your

collections in line with the key dates on the process calendar, working closely

& in line with Buying, Product & Sourcing teams on a regular basis.

Constantly liaising with Vendors on leveraging sampling & sourcing of

Materials, Outsoles and trims for Upper & Bottom.

Market Trend Analysis:

Stay updated on industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor

products.

Support design team with market insights at the time of conceptualization.

Quality Assurance:

Assist in maintaining design quality standards, safety requirements, and

product durability.

Participate in design reviews and implement feedback.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of footwear design principles and techniques.

Familiarity with materials, construction methods, and merchandising & production

processes related to footwear.

Awareness of industry trends and market dynamics in the footwear sector.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a design team.
