MTS II or III Software Engineer-Loyalty - Python/Bash/AWS

Overview:

PAC MTS III, Software

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Companion App Ground Service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the application.
• Implement, test, and debug Python-based services in a cloud-based environment using AWS.
• Develop and maintain Bash scripts for automation and system management tasks.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing code for better performance and functionality.
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met in all deliverables.

Key Skill Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in Bash scripting for system automation and process streamlining.
• Familiarity with Redhat Package Manager (RPM) for package building and management.
• Knowledge of C++ for potential cross-platform integrations.
• Understanding and experience with Nginx for web server configuration and optimization.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related field is preferred.
• 3 - 8 years software development experience.
