We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Project Manager

In this role, you will:

Project Planning and Management:
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring all are met according to plan.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Facilitate regular program meetings to track progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders effectively.
  • Participate in program review meetings chaired by central teams and communicate the updates effectively.
Risk Management:
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues.
  • Develop contingency plans to manage program risks and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Resource Management:
  • Coordinate and manage individual project resources, including team members, contractors, and external vendors.
  • Ensure adequate resource allocation and resolve any resource conflicts or issues.
Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards and business requirements.
  • Implement best practices and standards in project management and software development.
Budget Management:
  • Monitor and control program budgets while collaborating with PMO teams, ensuring expenses are tracked and remain within approved limits.
  • Prepare and present program financial reports to senior management.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including program plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Provide regular updates and detailed reports to stakeholders and senior management

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience working with technology projects, Hands on experience is desirable.
  • Sound understanding of micro services, GCP, digital transformation.
  • Delivered complex technology programs including large number of interconnected systems.
  • Knowledge of banking technology platforms and systems (e.g., core banking systems, payment systems, digital banking platforms).
  • Knowledge of API's, Google Cloud Platform would be an added advantage.
  • 2+ years of program management experience.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
