In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 4+yrs of hands-on development experience in developing complex, highly integrated, ETL batch applications using Abinitio, Unix Shell scripting
  • Good understanding on Abinitio features like Workload management, Workflow management, Continuous Flows, EME and Express IT
  • Experience in implementing and Reviewing NFR like Performance Optimization, Scalability, Reusability.
  • Hands on Scheduling Tools Preferably Autosys
  • Experience in change management, Process formulation, team leading, and Stakeholder management experience.
  • Experience in project management in support of process change within an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement initiatives in line with program roadmap objectives.
  • Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical subject matter experts on system implementations.

Job Expectations:

  • Experience in Open source ETL technologies Hadoop, Apache Spark etc..
  • Knowledge working with Devops tools GIT, Jenkins, Gradle, JIRA tools Hands-on experience in RDBMS (Oracle Exadata) and No-SQL Databases like MongoDB
  • Experience building strong relationships with senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Hands on experience on banking applications
  • Hands on person and eager to learn new process and areas.
  • Should be able to handle design, development of application along with mentoring and guiding team.
  • Lead complex enterprise-wide programs and collaborates on strategic initiatives for data governance, data quality and metadata activities.
  • May design and deliver database architecture / design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, performing needs assessments, database definition & structure, documentation, long-range requirements, and operational guidelines.
