We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead for our Current Account division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking with a focus on current accounts, demonstrating excellent leadership capabilities and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.This role requires the ability to effectively manage a team, develop strategies to grow the current account portfolio, and build strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the current account team to achieve sales targets and enhance client relationships.
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new current accounts and retain existing clients.
- Monitor and analyze team performance, providing coaching and support to team members.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies regarding current accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments such as operations, credit, and compliance to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 3-8 years of experience in a banking or financial services environment, specifically in current accounts or retail banking.
- Strong knowledge of banking products and services, particularly current accounts and related offerings.
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and driving performance results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and customer needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
