Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst specializing in API (Application Programming Interface) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of API development and integration.As a Business Analyst of API, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring our APIs deliver maximum value to our clients
Key Responsibilities- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements for API development and integration projects.
- Analysis and Documentation: Analyze and translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and technical documentation for API solutions.
- API Design: Work closely with development teams to design and validate API specifications, ensuring they meet business needs and technical standards.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate API functionality, performance, and security. Ensure APIs meet quality standards and align with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating clear and effective communication.
- Project Management: Support project management activities, including timeline development, progress tracking, and risk management, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of API development and integration practices.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams and clients on API usage and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in requirements management and documentation.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with business process analysis and improvement techniques.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead or similar role.
- Understanding of the technology and business landscape related to the product offerings.
- Experience with testing and quality assurance processes.
