Job Description

The Marketing Data Analyst is a key member of the marketing operations team responsible for leveraging data to drive insights, strategy, and decision-making. This role involves analyzing and interpreting marketing data to understand prospect behavior, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize marketing efforts across multiple channels.

The Marketing Data Analyst serves as the go-to partner for marketing data, ensuring the team has the insights needed to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
  • Marketing Funnel Analytics: Analyze marketing funnel metrics from initial website visits through to pipeline creation, providing insights on campaign performance and customer journey stages.
  • Data Collection and Cleaning: Gather and analyze data from various sources, including internal databases, CRM systems, and third-party tools.
  • Attribution Modeling: Develop and implement First Touch, Last Touch, and Multi-Touch Attribution Models to measure the impact of marketing efforts on revenue.
  • Self-Service Analytics Enablement: Use ThoughtSpot's own platform to Monitor and create cloneable processes and liveboards to empower marketers with self-service analytics capabilities.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all marketing campaigns and channels.
  • Proactive Insights: Identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks by analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and proactively recommend actionable strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on competitors marketing activities and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
Qualifications (What You Bring)
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI Tools, Excel, and data visualization. Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a data analysis role, preferably within a marketing environment. Familiarity with digital marketing metrics and attribution models.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
