The Life Insurance team focuses on developing and delivering solutions related to life insurance or life assurance-contracts between policy owners and insurers. The team works in the area of international life insurance where they review medical claims, medical onboarding, pension, and retirement schemes.The role may require having a good understanding of medical underwriting, intake process, medical records management, and medical records review.

CFA-Chartered Financial Analyst - Finance
Roles and Responsibilities: In this role you are required to perform daily, monthly, and quarterly accounting of investments, ensuring accurate entries in the general ledger.- Reconcile investment transactions, including capital calls, distributions, settlements and accruals.
- Maintain investment portfolios, including equity, fixed income, alternative investments, and derivatives.
- Assist in the valuation of investments, including performing pricing validation and ensuring accurate mark-to-market reporting.
- Prepare accurate and timely investment reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, including management reports, financial statements, and fund performance metrics.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with other departments in investments like Bonds, CML RML and OIA, including risk management and compliance, to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the implementation and adherence to internal controls, ensuring that accounting and reporting procedures are in line with industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards such as GAAP and STAT
- Support the audit process by providing required documentation and explanations regarding investment accounting transactions.
- Participate in special projects related to investment accounting, reporting, and system improvements.
- Provide analysis and insights as requested by senior management or external parties.
