Responsible for creating, improving, and protecting our immediate environment. They plan and oversee construction and rebuilding, as well as the maintenance of roads, bridges, tunnels, railways, dams, harbors, power plants, and airports.Provides guidance to entry-level engineers.Shall prepare calculation reports, material requisitions, service requisitions, technical specifications and quantity take-offs and provide input for design drawings during all phases of projects.Knowledge of discipline engineering techniques and design calculation principles.Shall check the drawings prepared by the designers.Knowledge of detail engineering and deliverables and understanding of the complete design work process including the tools.Understanding of engineering procedures and design guides.Performing feasibility studies, consulting with clients, designing structures, solving development problems, minimizing environmental impact, handling budgets, and ensuring safe working conditionsBasic understanding of the roles played by other engineering disciplines on projects.Performs work in accordance with the agreed-upon budget and schedule with moderate supervision.Hands-on experience using software like STAAD.Pro / GTStrudl / ETABS.Should be proficient in using MS office tools.Preference will be given to the candidates who are proficient in using 3D structural modeling software such as S3D, Naviswork, Revit etc.Experience in the design of Flat slabs, Cheese slabs and dynamic analysis of structures shall be an added advantage.Shall participate in conceptual studies and proposals.Performs specific and limited portions of a broader assignment of an experienced engineer.Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.Good skills in oral and written communication.Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests.
