Job Description
As a Billing Executive, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Billing Executive to join our team. The Billing Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities:- Preparing invoices for clients based on the services availed.
- Maintaining updated records of clients and updating charges to their accounts.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to billing.
- Maintain updated records of billing transactions, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Follow up with clients regarding overdue payments and facilitate collections efforts when necessary.
- Verify and reconcile billing data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide assistance with billing-related queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Generate periodic reports on billing activities, revenue trends, and account receivables for management review.
- Submitting reimbursement claims after verifying their authenticity, going through the supporting documentation, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
- Verify insurance coverage for the services rendered.
- Submitting claims to insurance companies upon proper verification.
- Resolving billing enquires, delayed payments and other issues by coordinating with the customer, healthcare company and the insurance provider.
- Performing in depth financial analysis to improve cash flow for the company and reduce outstanding balances.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in healthcare industry is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding practices.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with customers insurance companies and internal staff
- Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
