Job Summary A Quality Control Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry is responsible for conducting chemical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Report deviations and assist in investigations related to product quality. 3. Data Recording & Documentation Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory tests and results.
Prepare and review reports, Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and laboratory notebooks. Ensure proper documentation for audits and regulatory inspections. 4. Instrument Calibration & Maintenance Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy.
Troubleshoot analytical equipment and coordinate with technical teams for maintenance. Maintain inventory of lab chemicals and consumables. 5. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with production, R&D, and quality assurance teams to resolve quality issues.
Participate in process validation, method development, and stability studies. This role involves laboratory analysis, documentation, and reporting to maintain the safety, efficacy, and consistency of pharmaceutical products.Conducting chemical pharma testing in a laboratory.Handling instruments like ph-meter, uv-spectrometer,Analysis of tablets, capsules, ointment, raw materials etc.Conducting chemical analysis and Preparing all reports related to chemical analysis.Should be capable to Investigate OOS and any laboratory deviations.Ensure timely sampling and analysis of chemicals.Handling of HPLC, GC and calibration of instruments.Key Responsibilities 1. Laboratory Testing & Analysis Conduct chemical and physical tests on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
Perform analytical testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, FTIR, and titration. Ensure all testing procedures comply with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory guidelines. 2.
