We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Consultant, AEM Developer to join our team. As an AEM Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and developing end-to-end AEM-based solutions, including component development, templates, and workflows.You should have a deep understanding of business use cases and content management strategies, transforming them into effective and scalable AEM solutions. This role provides an opportunity to work with the latest AEM platforms, cloud integrations, and enterprise applications, ensuring high-performance digital experiences.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)-based applications, ensuring clean, functional, scalable, and user-friendly code.
- Translate UX/UI design concepts and business requirements into AEM component development, templates, workflows, and headless CMS solutions using Content Fragment Models and GraphQL APIs.
- Lead a team of developers, ensuring high-quality deliverables, accessibility compliance (WCAG), and performance optimizations.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java, Sling, OSGi, and HTL (Sightly) code for AEM applications.
- Implement and optimize headless AEM solutions, integrating with external front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) via AEM%27s Content Services and GraphQL APIs.
- Ensure compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), implementing best practices for keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and color contrast ratio.
- Develop accessible AEM components and templates, following ARIA roles, semantic HTML, and focus management principles.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers and accessibility experts to ensure inclusive, user-friendly, and compliant digital experiences.
- Implement automated and manual accessibility testing using tools like axe, WAVE, Lighthouse, and Voice Over/NVDA screen readers.
- Fix accessibility defects, ensuring that interactive elements, dynamic content, and multimedia assets meet WCAG standards.
- Collaborate with content authors to ensure accessible content structure, proper use of headings, alt text for images, and readable typography.
- Work closely with technical, UX, and product teams to identify development requirements, UX dependencies, and content structure improvements.
- Implement AEM Sites, AEM Assets, AEM Workflows, and Dispatcher configurations to optimize application performance and accessibility.
- Develop and integrate AEM components, OSGi services, JCR queries, and workflows to streamline content management, personalization, and UX optimization.
- Conduct UX-focused A/B testing, usability analysis, and performance benchmarking to enhance the user journey.
- Optimize front-end performance and accessibility, ensuring fast loading times, reduced motion effects, and adaptable UI elements.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, ensuring continuous iteration, rapid prototyping, and seamless UX/UI integration.
- Stay updated with AEM trends, UX best practices, WCAG guidelines, and emerging technologies to enhance both functionality and user engagement.
- Implement code accessibility best practices, such as focus indicators, ARIA attributes, and accessible form elements.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain high test coverage, and enforce best practices for modular, reusable, and user-friendly development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, UX/UI inconsistencies, accessibility barriers, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
- Engage in technical discussions, contribute to architectural designs, and present solutions through whiteboarding and documentation.
- Provide technical briefings, demonstrations, and customer-facing interactions, focusing on user experience, accessibility, and content strategies
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications- B.Tech/B.E/MCA or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in architecting and developing AEM-based applications from scratch.
- Proficiency in Java, OSGi, Sling, JCR, HTL (Sightly), and AEM Component Development.
- Strong proficiency in AEM Sites, AEM Assets, AEM Forms, and AEM Workflows, ensuring compliance with WCAG accessibility standards.
- Ability to technically drive and review work of other team members, ensuring accessibility best practices and UX consistency.
- Experience with AEM Sites, AEM Assets, AEM Workflows, and AEM Dispatcher.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and client-side frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in designing and developing impactful, user-friendly, and accessible applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

- Experience with AEM Dispatcher configurations, performance tuning, and caching strategies, optimizing both speed and accessibility.
- Proficiency in CRXDE Lite, Apache Sling, JCR, and OSGi frameworks, with experience in structuring accessible content models.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, ensuring scalable and accessible deployments.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized AEM environments, facilitating optimized and accessible development workflows.
- Ensuring high performance, security, accessibility, and scalability of AEM applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve AEM-related issues, including accessibility barriers.
