Sales Support Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Proposes the most suitable technical solutions for complex enquiries.
- Provides technical support during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
- Performs analytics and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet the customer needs.
- Supports the manager in preparing and delivering the technical presentations and demonstrations on complex product issues, to both internal staff and customers.
- Provides/delivers product/solution/service-related training.
- Supports the manages in preparing and validating the technical articles to publish.

Qualifications for the role- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Tendering / Engineering of Automation (DCS /PLC/Safety PLC/Power Management Systems) solutions including cybersecurity for energy industries.
- Experience in handling MAC / Turnkey bids / projects would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive.
- Knowledge of ABB automation products like 800xA / Symphony Plus will have advantage
- Knowledge on Third Party Communication interfaces (Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.)
