Job Description

Job Purpose

Design Solutions for projects comprising of Credit, Debit, Prepaid, Debit, Fraud, Personalization, IVR, Interchanges, Payment Gateway, ATMs and POS Acquiring services covering IT, Operations and Infrastructure requirements. Also responsible for ensuring that solution is scalable, parameterized, equipped on capacity handling and within well-covered Compliance, Risk and Audit boundaries.

Job Accountabilities

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Solutions Architect with extensive experience the payments industry

Coordinate between business and IT stakeholders to develop an architecture approach.

Responsible for the design, customization, and implementation of robust, secure, scalable payment systems across n-tier platforms.

Translate complex functional, technical, and business requirements into architectural designs.

Coordinate with Delivery Project Manager and Business Analyst to draft project scope

Conduct proofs of concept for emerging technologies where required.

Adapt to a quickly changing environment and interact with a broad customer base with diverse needs and functional responsibilities.

Be the primary point of contact for the customer for requirement solution design.

Provide input into the Solution proposal, including design and associated costing.

E2E payment solution design that involves EMV card personalization, Schemes Affiliation, Credit, Debit, Prepaid Card Management System, Network & Infrastructural Requirements, Switching, Capacity Planning, fraud Monitoring, Settlement & Chargeback, Certifications.

Support Project handover to PMO upon DOA approval. Provide support to NI Project Manager in case of scope queries/ scope conflict during the project execution.

Design solutions in conjunction with Enterprise architecture team to insure adherence to company standards

Experience / Skills Required

Education: Degree level from a recognized university in computer science or relevant subject in technology. Preferably holds a Masters of Business Administration or Masters of Science in Management.

Experience:

At least 7 years of experience in a Technology / IT function in a recognized international organization. Financial services industry and Middle East experience highly desirable.

At least 4 years of experience as a Solution Architect on Card and merchant Management Platform.

At least 3 years of operating at management level managing geographically distributed teams.

Excellent knowledge in services, functions and technical solutions used in payment services industry. Core skills in at least one area: Payment processing and Card Management

Experience in designing solutions in payment services industry. Experience in using analytical tools, methodologies and best practices.

Experience in developing documentation, presentation and other material.

Experience in end to end costing of solutions.

Excellent knowledge on relevant systems and solutions.
