Job Description: Business Development Manager - Interior Brand

As a Business Development Manager for our interior brand, you will be pivotal in driving business growth and enhancing our market presence. Your focus will be on identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and achieving revenue objectives.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, particularly in space-saving furniture and innovative interior products, to architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners.

Responsibilities:

Market Research & Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, target markets, and competitors in the interior design sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on new opportunities and drive growth.

Lead Generation:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business prospects through networking, events, referrals, and digital channels.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, and channel partners.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing their needs and aligning our offerings with their project requirements.

Sales Presentations & Proposals:

  • Create and deliver customized sales proposals that showcase our unique space-saving furniture solutions and interior products, addressing client needs and project goals.

Negotiation & Contract Finalization:

  • Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless contract execution and project delivery.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
  • Provide insights to support product development and marketing strategies tailored to architects and interior designers.

Networking & Industry Engagement:

  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to strengthen industry relationships and expand business opportunities with key stakeholders.

Sales Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Analyze sales data, prepare regular reports, and forecast revenue to assist senior management in strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • 5 to 6 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the interior design industry.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and interior design products, particularly space-saving solutions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in generating leads, closing deals, and achieving revenue targets.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional networks with clients and industry experts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and site visits.

Pay: 50,000.00 - 75,000.00 per month
