Job Description
  • Administrative Support
  • Assist the procurement team with day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and databases.
  • Approve requisitions by reviewing the terms & conditions, order form/quote and ensure its meeting procurement process and policy requirements
  • Manage correspondence with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Supplier Management
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and negotiate terms for low spend items.
  • Monitor supplier performance and maintain a database of approved suppliers.
  • Handle supplier queries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Procurement Process
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement documentation, including tender documents and contracts.
  • Track and report on the status of procurement activities.
  • Support the implementation of procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
  • Data Management and Reporting
  • Maintain procurement records, including contracts, and supplier onboarding document.
  • Generate reports on procurement activities, spending patterns, and supplier performance.
  • Assist in the analysis of procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide updates on order status.
  • Coordinate with finance and accounting departments to ensure timely processing of payments
