Channel Sales Representative -Indoor Air Quality Products
Job Description
Summary:
As a Channel Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue
growth by developing and managing relationships with Distributors, Channel
Partners, ensuring they effectively promote and sell Delta IAQ Products to their
customer base. You will achieve sales targets by collaborating with distributors,providing training and support, and monitoring distributor performance to maximize
sales opportunities within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
Distributor Development and Management:
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new distributors and dealers aligned with Delta
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at distributor
- Develop and execute distributor account plans, including sales strategies,
- Regularly review distributor performance against sales targets and identify
areas for improvement.
Sales Enablement and Training:
- Provide comprehensive product knowledge on ERVs, FAS fans and
sales processes, and customer support best practices.
- Develop and deliver sales enablement materials, presentations, and training
programs to enhance distributor capabilities.
Lead Generation and Opportunity Management:
- Generate sales leads through distributor networks and leverage existing
- Effectively qualify leads and manage the sales pipeline within assigned
- Collaborate with distributor sales teams to nurture leads and close deals.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and analyze key sales metrics (e.g., revenue, market share, distributor
- Prepare regular sales reports like FMS reports, MOMs, forecasts, and
dashboards to communicate performance to stakeholders.
Market Awareness and Competitive Analysis:
- Should be well versed with Indoor Air Quality products like ERV, FAS fans,
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market
- Share market intelligence with the sales team and distributors to optimize
sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 15+ years in HVAC industry is preferred. English, Hindi and any other local language is preferred.
- Proven track record of success in channel sales, preferably within Indoor Air
- Knowledgeable in HVAC ducting and ASHRAE recommendations.
- Strong relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to influence
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory to meet with distributors and customers.
