Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior QA Engineer.
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
- Hands on experience with manual testing including hardware interaction in the Lab.
- Create and Review acceptance criteria, set up test environments, and execute test strategies and test plans against SFA projects.
- Create Test Plans and Test Cases for features in Product.
- Work with other test and development engineers to create and execute test cases that are flexible and reusable across SFA hardware storage platforms.
- Coordinate with project team, developers and other test engineers on defects and issues, provide pertinent data for root cause analysis and verify test and production build changes for resolutions.
- Work with developers and test engineers from multiple locations across the globe.
- Work with Test Architect, Test Leads, Test Engineers and Developers/Designers to understand and provide solutions for any challenges that could impact the delivery of SFA projects.
- Work with system architecture/design team to understand future products to ensure test architecture is adequate.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and support development & QA teams with system setup, administration, and configuration.
- Support appropriate technical meetings/scrums and message progress/status/concerns.
- Review solution requirements from a QA point of view and participate in feature test scoping for input into the development of the product roadmap.
- Understand/Work on the Integration of Product with other Products in the portfolio and build up understanding of customer use case.
- Drive process improvements within the local test organization.
- Participate in CLCA process with the QA test lead to improve the process release over release
- Analyze project metrics to provide data on gaps and areas for improvement as well as data to base future schedules on.
- Automate and execute the Tests to expedite the testing process.
- Good understanding of automation frameworks and ability to use and diagnose issues.
Qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or another related technical field).
- Storage industry experience must.
- 5+ years’ experience in QA and manual test execution.
- Linux.
- Basic understanding of Bash or Python Scripting. Good to have Advance automation skills.
- Understanding of all phases of the development life cycle.
- Familiar with QA methodology, functional and structural testing techniques.
- Experience using source code control systems (GIT preferred).
- Experience using bug tracking systems (Jira preferred).
- Highly effective analytical, problem solving, decision making and influencing capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work across complex organizations and collaborate on technology sharing.
- Self-motivated, passionate, and driven to achieve committed milestones.
- Strong team player with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment with a broad scope of evolving responsibilities.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to independently prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a fast paced environment .

If you clear the interview, you will enter the main process, which can consist of up to four interviews in total:
- Coding assessment: Often in a language of your choice.
- Systems design: Translate high-level requirements into a scalable, fault-tolerant service (depending on role).
- Real-time problem-solving: Demonstrate practical skills in a live problem-solving session.
- Meet and greet with the wider team.
- Our goal is to finish the main process in 2-3 weeks at most.
