Job Description:
The Head of HR, India, will lead and manage all aspects of Human Resources for SymphonyAI's Indian operations, contributing significantly to the global HR strategy. This role is designed for a dynamic HR leader with robust experience in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with global HR leadership to align India HR strategies with overall company goals.
- Act as a key advisor to senior leadership on HR-related issues, providing insights and solutions that support the business objectives.
HR Operations and Compliance:
- Oversee HR operations ensuring compliance with all local labor laws and regulations.
- Optimize HR processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and enhanced employee experience.
HR Business Partnering:
- Act as the HR Business Partner for the Senior Leadership Team in India, providing guidance on matters relating to people.
- Work closely with India managers to support India and global initiatives that drive employee engagement and performance.
Global HR Projects:
- Lead and participate in global HR initiatives, collaborating with teams across various time zones.
- Manage tech global initiatives in partnership with the CTO to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership:
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR team in India, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Provide direction to team members to navigate through uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to the senior leadership team during Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs).
AI Domain Expertise:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in the AI field to align HR strategies with industry developments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR leader in a technology-driven, geographically dispersed organization.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and compliance in India.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across different time zones and cultural landscapes.
- Hands-on approach with a strong ability to execute and drive results.
- Expertise in building and leading high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with the AI industry and its evolving landscape is highly desirable.
