Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Sales Manager with a background in building materials to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the building materials industry.The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and maintaining relationships with key clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base in the building materials sector.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients, architects, contractors, and builders.
- Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to customers, helping them make informed decisions about the company's building materials offerings.
- Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activities.
- Collaborate with the internal team, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential clients and promote the company's products.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Provide regular updates to management on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations related to building materials.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, specifically within the building materials industry.
- Strong understanding of the building materials market and products.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and attend industry events as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
