This role ensures that all cargo is handled in compliance with airline, safety, and regulatory standards, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of flight operations.Key ResponsibilitiesCargo Handling & Safety:Load and unload cargo, luggage, and freight from aircraft according to weight distribution and safety guidelines.Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting during flight.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including those related to hazardous materials.Equipment Operation:Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other ground support equipment safely.Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality.Documentation & Coordination:Accurately document cargo loads, unloads, and transfers.Communicate effectively with ground crew, ramp supervisors, and flight crews to coordinate timely cargo operations.Physical & Operational Duties:Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required, ensuring adherence to ergonomic practices.Work efficiently in various weather conditions and adapt to changing operational requirements.Compliance & Quality Control:Ensure all cargo handling procedures comply with airline policies, FAA regulations, and international safety standards.Participate in regular safety drills and training sessions to remain current on best practices and procedures.QualificationsEducation:High school diploma or equivalent.Experience:Previous experience in cargo handling, warehouse operations, or related fields is preferred.Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.Skills & Attributes:Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects safely.Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.More information about this Airplane cargo loader JobPlease go through the below FAQs to get all answers related to the given Airplane cargo loader jobWhat are the job requirements to apply for this Airplane cargo loader job position?
