Service Delivery Manager - Talent & Culture

As part of the HR Services Delivery team you will work in a cross-functional environment to enable reliable and scalable business centric solutions and services. Leveraging your strong technical knowledge and in-depth expertise, you will manage end to end operational processes through flawless execution, robust commercial and service management of in-scope third parties.Through your contribution we will deliver reliable HR services with enhanced employee experience and productivity.

As part of the HR Services team you will lead the operational delivery of Learning and Development and Talent Management Services. You will work closely with the Talent & Culture COEs, business customers, HR Digital, Regional team, suppliers, and other service delivery team, to design and deliver customer centric efficient process.Leveraging technology and automation to build solid data driven decision making platforms we support Syngenta’s future strategy and total talent management.
- Coordinate the seamless delivery of services within a defined global framework at global scale, fostering collaboration across countries and tracking metrics to drive strategic value for the organization.
- Lead a team of specialized professionals (typically 2-5) within a matrix wider team of global cross-functional colleagues, providing strategic direction, coaching and motivation to design and deliver business impact
- Act as service delivery owner for end-to-end T&C processes . This includes but is not limited to:
- Work closely with the CoE & Process Owner in the design, implementation and continuous improvement of optimal business processes that deliver business centric outcomes through automation and efficiency, tapping into market best practices and innovation.
- Deliver end-to-end processes execution in alignment with documentation under the agreed T&C scope globally (process maps, global work instructions, how to guides, knowledge articles).
- Hold accountability for updating and maintaining all process documentation in your scope globally.
- Drive productivity across our service delivery to reduce manual effort involved in the processes.
- Collaborate across functions (HR Services, IT, HR Digital, T&C CoE, Procurement) to ensure an overall fit for purpose delivery of services
- Act as SME within system related projects, functional system enhancements and on-going business as usual development or escalations
- Manage vendor performance to drive service excellence and maximize productivity
- Respond to service escalations for the T&C services and play an active role in resolution and closure.
- Support the Global Enablement Center Lead in the design and implementation of optimal delivery strategies that deliver business centric outcomes through automation and efficiency, tapping into market best practices and innovation.
- Act as a change agent across Syngenta for HR Services management transformation, leveraging analytics and storytelling to communicate benefits and engage stakeholders
- Work as part of a global team of HR Operations professionals working on a variety of projects which will help to continuously develop functional capability or support business initiatives
Knowledge, experience & capabilities
Critical experience:
- 10+ years of work experience, with 5+ years of demonstrable experience of HR, preferably in HR Operations.
- Strong knowledge of global market trends related to Learning and Talent Management
- Track record of operating independently and delivering results, embracing ambiguity, demonstrating creativity, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
- Curiosity, active listening, and a willingness to experiment and test new ideas when appropriate, with focus on continuous learning and improvement.
- Action oriented, can prioritize and make decisions and influence others to do the same
- Relevant experience on process management for service delivery. Experience in implementation and management of HR technology and service delivery models is a desired advantage
- Strong English written / presentation, oral communication and influencing skills tailoring the content and approach to the specific audience
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships with peers, senior stakeholders and suppliers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
- Good understanding of the commercial implications of HR Services management
- Experience in major global organizations, working across cultures and languages
Education required:
- English is a must
- Bachelor of Human Resources or Business Administration
