Role Overview
We are looking for a Associate Director- Strategy with a strong background in consulting, banking, and fintech startups. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive new product initiatives, identify bottlenecks, and oversee end-to-end execution.The ideal candidate will have experience in defining product strategies, streamlining processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable financial products.
Key Responsibilities- Define and Drive Product Strategy: Lead the strategy for new product development, identifying market opportunities and business needs.
- End-to-End Execution: Oversee product development from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Identify Bottlenecks & Optimize Processes: Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvements in product and operational execution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, risk, and compliance teams to develop innovative financial products.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory landscape to inform product strategy.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics and user insights to refine product offerings and drive continuous improvement.
- 5-8 years of experience in product strategy, product management, or consulting roles.
- Strong experience in top-tier consulting firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) and/or banking/fintech startups.
- Proven track record of successfully defining and executing product strategies in fast-paced environments.
- Deep understanding of financial products, banking processes, and fintech ecosystems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to drive alignment across teams.
- Experience working in a high-growth fintech or startup environment.
- Understanding of trade finance, credit risk, or payments solutions.
- MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
