What you'll do- Mentor and guide high performing engineering team
- Be an inspiring leader in building services for next generation Multi-cloud service. Deliver high-performance web services that are adaptable to multifaceted business needs, influence conceptualisation & outstanding problem solving
- Partner with global product management and engineering and operations leaders to help shape technical product architecture & practices,u00A0roadmap and release plans
- Drive strategic and tactical decisions which ensures the successful delivery of projects
- Lead the technical design, vision, and implementation strategy
- Develop execution plan and lead the engineering team to complete the vision
- Apply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable, modular, and of high code quality
- Develop and evolve engineering processes and teamwork models, applying creative problem solving to optimize team efficiency
- Attract, hire, on-board and retain top talent. Motivate and develop the team as a player-coach to be a high-performance team.
- Craft a positive winning culture built on collaboration and shared accomplishments
- Lead the discussions on emerging industry technologies & trends and work with the team & leadership use this knowledge to influence product direction
- 9+ years of experienceu00A0in software development, with au00A0proven track record in a leadership or management role.
- Proficiency inu00A0PHPu00A0and at least oneu00A0object-oriented language (Java, C#, or Python)u00A0for backend development.
- Strong database skillsu00A0with expertise inu00A0SQL and NoSQL databasesu00A0(e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Azure Cosmos DB).
- Experience inu00A0frontend technologies, particularlyu00A0ExtJS and React, with experience in building and leading full-stack applications.
- Experience working withu00A0GraphQL, WebSockets, or event-driven architectures.
- Deep understanding ofu00A0modern software architecture, including microservices, event-driven systems, and API-first development.
- Experience withu00A0cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)u00A0and their services for enterprise applications.
- Proficiency inu00A0version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practicesu00A0for software delivery.
- Familiarity withu00A0Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Proven understanding ofu00A0software development methodologiesu00A0(Agile, Scrum, or Kanban) andu00A0design patterns.
- Hands-on experience withu00A0scalability and performance tuning for large applications.
- Ability to lead multi-functional teams, mentor engineers, and build high-performing development teams.
- Provenu00A0problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skillsu00A0with a strong bias for action.
- Excellentu00A0communication, collaboration, and managementu00A0skills.
- Experience inu00A0hiring, coaching, and career developmentu00A0of software engineers.
