Responsible for CAD and BIM design tasks as directed by the Engineer.
Responsible to provide drafting/modelling support to technically challenging projects. Review and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy.
Creation and editing of drawings & sketches in compliance with AECOM Standards. Completion of CAD/BIM tasks received from Engineers and CAD Coordinators.
Prepare and modify 3D BIM models for development of federated models.
Maintaining regular and communication with client/lead region/project lead for understand the clients requirements for qualitative and timely delivery.
Liaising with the team manager/(s) to keep informed of all developments associated with the project.
Providing guidance to the project team, leading a qualitative and client- focused culture.
Ensure QA/QC Documents Are Maintained Properly. Qualifications & Experience
Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Proven experience as a BIM Modeler, with a minimum of 5 years and maximum of 10 years in a similar role.
Strong understanding on structural engineering is mandatory.
Must be experienced in ProjectWise, BIM 360/ACC.
Must be experienced in BIM360 workflow.
Must be proactive and should maintain professionalism.
Relevant experience in construction industry, reinforcement detailing, and BIM models related to structural projects.
Experience in preparing Revit models up to LOD 400 in REVIT
Exposure to AutoCAD/MicroStation drafting.
Experience in preparing general arrangement drawings documentation
Experienced in preparing estimated time for BIM models and detailed drawings for bridges, tunnels, metro stations and water structures.
Understanding of construction phasing and sequencing for complex
Proficient in written and verbal communication in English language and good command of technical English terminology.
Ability to create custom families and templates to enhance BIM
Experienced in working towards tight deadlines focusing on the quality
Must be self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum (3D and 2D). projects. workflows. of product. supervision.
