Summary:As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for transforming testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies. Your typical day will involve developing and implementing automated testing solutions using Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Develop and implement automated testing solutions using Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT) and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, ensuring that testing is integrated into the development process.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, errors, and inconsistencies in software functionality, output, and content, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Must To Have Skills: Experience with Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Solid grasp of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT).
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
