This role involves assisting the logistics manager in overseeing logistics operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring efficient supply chain processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth logistics processes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management and replenishment.
  • Support the logistics manager in developing and implementing logistics strategies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate logistics reports and documentation.
  • Assist in resolving any logistics-related issues or discrepancies.
  • Participate in the training and development of logistics staff.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with logistics software and tools (e.g., TMS, WMS).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management and transportation systems.
