• Develop and validate numerical models using advanced simulation software.Conduct detailed structural analysis of ship components and systems usingFEA/ CAE software.
• Interpret analysis results and provide recommendations to improve designs.
• Prepare and review technical reports and presentations.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Manage client and customer relationships.
• Identify and promote new service opportunities based on market needs andtechnological advancements.
• Conduct design reviews and make recommendations for enhancements orimprovements. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, andimplement corrective actions as required. Document the lessons learned inprojects and do knowledge sharing regularly.
• Lead and oversee the engineering analysis team to execute projects.
• Understand project requirements and solve problems in discussion withHOD/Department manager and other project stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of engineers anddesigners.
• Establish and maintain the skill set of the team as per the departmentsrequirement.

Qualification

Bachelors degree in Naval Architecture/Mechanical/Civil from a reputed institute2 / 3

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural analysis in shipbuilding or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of FEA/CAE tools
• Understanding of relevant regulations and codes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and coordination.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to work under pressure and meet tightdeadlines.
• Ability to travel to project sites and work in various locations.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Professional engineering certification is a plus.
