Summary:
As a Security Engineer, you will apply security skills to design, build and protect enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people. You will provide services to safeguard information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes against cyber threats.

Your typical day will involve utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Active Directory to ensure the security of the organization's systems and data.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Ensure the security of enterprise systems, applications, data, assets, and people.
  • Design and implement security measures to protect information, infrastructures, applications, and business processes.
  • Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents and events.
  • Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents.
Domain Administration:
  • Creation and management of directory infrastructure
  • Monitoring and reporting associated with the reliability and security of the domain
  • Domain Controller Management
  • Policy monitoring and compliance
  • Secure remote administration of the DCs and member servers managed by the Infrastructure Group
  • Manage group policy at root of domain and for Domain Controllers OU
  • Manage the root Users and the root Computers OUs
  • Install and manage security reporting tools used to monitor changes to the Active Directory
  • Coordinate and configure alarm distribution to OU Admins for OU-related events
  • Plan and manage all migrations and upgrades related to the AD or the DCs
  • Ensure overall security and integrity of their managed OU hierarchy
  • Group Policy Object (GPO) creation, troubleshooting, and management
  • Publishing resource objects from their OU hierarchy in the Active Directory as applicable
  • Manage Group Policy Object (GPO) links within their OU hierarchy
  • Configure and Manage DHCP and DNS. Day to day Troubleshooting related to DHCP and DNS Creation/deletion of static DNS records/zones on Active Directory integrated & standalone DNS servers. Implementation of aging/scavenging on different domains. DNS server Health check.
  • Troubleshooting operational AD issues reported by users/application owners & SCOM system alerts.
  • Promotion/decommission of Domain Controllers.
  • Plan and implement migrations / upgrades / Updates / patching.
  • Infrastructure health monitoring, Backup and restore
  • MS Azure: Tenant Administration, Identity Management, AAD Sync, Sentinel, Conditional Access, MFA, Modern Authentication.
  • ncidents, Problems & Service request resolution adhering to SLA
  • Implementation of system change requests and releases.
  • Perform Root cause analysis & Impact assessments.
  • Understanding, analysis and timely resolution of issues faced during System Configuration/ support cycles
Professional & Technical Skills:
  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Good To Have Skills: Experience with network security technologies.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with incident response and disaster recovery procedures.
Schema Administrator:
  • Maintains security and integrity of schema
  • Oversees modifications to schema
  • Full disaster recovery plan and practice of schema recovery
Additional Information:
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • This position is based at our Noida office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
