Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily production operations and ensure smooth functioning of the production line.
Ensure the implementation of Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Production Records (BPR) for all batches, maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
Monitor and maintain product quality, ensuring compliance with the company's quality standards.
Coordinate with other departments (Quality Control, R&D, Packaging) to ensure the timely and accurate production of Ayurvedic medicines.
Handle and resolve any issues related to production, including technical problems, supply chain delays, and quality control concerns.
Manage production schedules to meet deadlines and maintain an optimal level of inventory.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and environmental regulations during production processes.
Conduct periodic audits and inspections to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Train and mentor production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Implement process improvements and suggest innovations to enhance production efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- B.Sc. (in any discipline)
- B. Pharma / D. Pharma (preferred)
Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in the Ayurvedic or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine production, including dosage forms, raw material handling, and packaging.
- Familiarity with Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Batch Production Records (BPR).
- Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and compliance-related procedures.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of Ayurvedic medicine formulations and herb properties.
- Understanding of regulations related to Ayurvedic product manufacturing.
