AIOps & Automation Lead

Job Description

Capgemini is seeking a Director who will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AIOps and automation projects from ideation, design, development, testing, deployment, to monitoring and optimization.

Key roles and responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement AIOps strategies to enhance IT operations, including proactive insights, predictive analytics, and incident management automation.
• Lead and mentor a team of AIOps and automation engineers and analysts, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks, improve scalability, and reduce manual intervention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, define requirements, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate automation tools and technologies to optimize performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Establish best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for AIOps and automation processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in AIOps and automation, and recommend solutions to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop metrics, dashboards, and reports to measure the effectiveness of AIOps and automation initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Measure and report on the performance, benefits, and ROI of AIOps and automation solutions, and communicate them to senior management and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 16 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in AIOps and automation.
• Proven track record of leading and delivering successful AIOps and automation projects, using agile methodologies and frameworks.
• Expertise in AIOps and automation technologies, tools, and platforms, ex. leading AIOPS platforms such as VERTEX, Splunk , Datadog, New Relic etc.
• Extensive experience with automation tools such as Ansible, vRO etc.
• Strong understanding of AIOps principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud platforms.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale automation projects from inception to delivery.
