Design Engineer

Job Description

• Proficient in CAD Modeling (Mandatory skill) with a thorough understanding of designing complex structures and components.
• Experienced in using Solidworks (Mandatory skill) for creating detailed and accurate 3D models and assemblies.
• Skilled in SPM (Mandatory skill), especially with regard to designing Special Purpose Machines.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals to create efficient designs.
• Proficiency in various design software, ensuring the ability to adapt to different tools and technologies as needed.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities to address complex design challenges effectively and efficiently.
• Experience in producing technical drawings that precisely follow engineering standards and manufacturing requirements.
• Knowledge of automation processes and integration of automated systems into design projects.

• Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver optimum design solutions.
• Implement design modifications based on feedback from stakeholders, thus continuously improving and refining designs.
• Conduct simulations and analysis to validate designs, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance standards are met.
• Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and documentation to project teams and clients for review and approval.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in design technologies, applying new knowledge to ongoing projects.
• Ensure all designs adhere to safety standards, regulations, and best practices in engineering and manufacturing.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment within the team.
