The Job
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the herbal extracts, pharmaceuticals, and nutraceutical sectors, including new markets, growth areas, trends, and potential customers.
Lead Generation: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients by conducting market research, attending industry events, and leveraging your existing network.
Client Acquisition: Approach and secure new customers through direct outreach, presentations, and relationship-building efforts.
Strategic Partnerships: Explore and establish partnerships with key stakeholders in the industry, such as distributors, pharma companies, and nutraceutical firms.
Product Knowledge: Stay informed about GreenSpace herbal extract offerings, product innovations, and competitive advantages in the pharma and nutraceutical spaces.
Market Analysis: Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted business strategies, pricing models, and sales plans.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain and update the CRM system with relevant client information, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, proposals, and contracts.
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed business development reports, including forecasts, revenue targets, and key performance metrics to senior management.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., product development, marketing, and operations) to ensure alignment of business development initiatives with company goals.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate and close business deals and contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Ideal Candidate- You have at least 1 year experience within a B2B Sales / Account Executive or Sales / Relationship Manager role, ideally within the Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals / Biotechnology and Retail industry.
