As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products we deliver. Responsibilities- Define and implement quality assurance processes and best practices to enhance overall product quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct manual testing for complex functionalities to ensure thorough validation of software features.
- Work with developers to identify and resolve defects and performance issues early in the development cycle.
- Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria for new features.
- Monitor and track quality metrics to provide insights and recommendations for quality improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database testing.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter) is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in quality assurance or software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are desirable.
