Job Description - Content Writer
Experience - 3+ years
Location: Mumbai/Chennai/Vadodara/Permanent WFH/Remote
WovVTech is looking for content writers who can effectively convey the story of the WovV Products we have built. You'll be working with teams across the company to create valuable content to educate our customers and wow our prospects.
Your work will have you fiddling with taglines on website pages, writing blog posts for feature announcements, putting together thought leadership posts for guest publications, sketching collateral, framing scripts for feature videos, building presentations to better explain features, and so on.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Do market and audience research and write clear copies for various products and services
- Develop, write and deliver persuasive copy for the website, email marketing campaigns, sales collateral, videos, and blogs
- Keep up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and business/industry trends.
- Write Core website copy, Blogs and news articles, Social media posts, Content for banners, Product descriptions, Case studies, whitepapers, Company bios, Landing pages
- Work closely with different teams to ensure consistent, high-quality deliverables
- Ensure that the content they have written relevant to their organization is in line with the products and key company philosophy
Requirements:
- Degree in Journalism, Mass Media and Communications or any other graduate with passion for writing.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to make complex technical matters easy-to understand even for non-technical people
- Should have excellent writing skills with unblemished grammar expertise.
- Should also be well versed with creative web content, blogs, articles, and press releases according to the requirements.
- Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Some experience in SEO writing and internet research.
- Should have the basic understanding of Keyword relevancy and keyword density and should also be familiar with Keyword placement and other SEO best practices.
