Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
The work model for the role is: #LI - onsite.
This role is contributing to the Process Automation – Measurement & Analytics in India.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Sells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
- Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABB’s complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.
- Anticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.
- Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.
- Communicates to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy
- Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.
- Highly skilled in cold rolling mills in the metals market
- You have 5 to 7 years of experience in sales in the metals industry.
- Possess enhanced knowledge of cold rolling mills
- You are passionate about customer management, team management, and stakeholder management.
- You have a diploma or engineering degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- You are comfortable communicating in English, both written and verbal.
