Position Overview:

This position requires a blend of technical expertise, thought leadership, and management skills to drive innovation and ensure the highest standards of quality for VotaryTech's solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Testing Practice Leadership: Define and lead the testing practice for Auto, IoT, and Smart Devices, ensuring alignment with VotaryTech's strategic vision and goals.
• Test Strategy Development: Design comprehensive test strategies and frameworks for validating Industry 4.0, IoT, automotive, and smart device solutions, focusing on functional, performance, security, and integration aspects.
• Automation and Innovation: Drive the adoption of automation tools and frameworks across projects, ensuring efficiency and scalability in the testing lifecycle.
• Quality Assurance Governance: Establish and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions across projects.
• Domain Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of automotive systems, IoT ecosystems, and smart devices to develop tailored testing methodologies for complex use cases.
• Cross-Domain Collaboration: Work closely with VotaryTech's R&D, development, and product teams to identify quality objectives and align testing efforts with business goals.
• Client Engagement: Act as a key interface with clients, understanding their quality expectations, providing strategic recommendations, and delivering testing insights.
• Team Leadership and Development: Mentor, guide, and manage testing teams across domains, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence.
• Continuous Improvement: Use metrics, data analytics, and feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive enhancements in the testing process.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to industry standards, certifications, and compliance requirements, such as ISO, GDPR, and automotive-specific protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in testing and quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or practice head role.
• Extensive experience in IoT, automotive, and smart device testing, including systems such as ADAS, connected cars, IIoT, and edge computing.
• Proficiency in IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, CoAP) and platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT, and Google Cloud IoT.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Expertise in automotive standards and testing frameworks such as AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and CAN/LIN protocols.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML testing methodologies, particularly in Industry 4.0 applications.
• Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in testing smart manufacturing systems, predictive maintenance, digital twins, and real-time analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and testing methodologies for IoT and automotive solutions.
• Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, Six Sigma, PMP, or domain-specific certifications in automotive and IoT.
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST standards.
• Exposure to emerging technologies like 5G, edge AI, and blockchain in IoT and automotive contexts.
