MES Automation Engineer

• - For an MES automation project on production support:
• Prepare PLC code (S7, S5, exotics)
• Manage middleware (PLC Kepware) or similar data converters (schneider to S7)
• Manage OPC (UA and DA)
• Facilitate interactions with other Proces Automation SME for networking (IP look ups
• Manage PI historian (PI AF, PI vision) tasks, create Pi points
• Support the process engineer for reporting purposes
• Program linux clients with node-red appliations and apache servers. Node-red is open source/fast learning.
• Support technical requirements for project developments
• Support reporting root cause analysis
• Follow the GMP pharma standards for all of the above activities
• - - Hands-on, pragmatic
• Takes initiative when needed (PM is not necessarily technical)
• Can manage complex task independently
• Team player: willing to help, share, coach other engineers
