We’re scaling fast and looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to streamline our hiring process and help us identify top talent across multiple functions.
Role Overview
We receive thousands of job applications across customer service, operations, CAD, quality control, digital operations, finance, and IT. Your role will be to efficiently manage end-to-end talent acquisition—from reviewing, screening, and shortlisting candidates to overseeing their smooth onboarding.You will also manage external recruiters and recruitment agencies to maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates and ensure seamless integration into MadeTruly’s culture and workflow.
This full-time role is ideal for someone structured, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering a superior candidate and employee onboarding experience. You’ll work from our Malad office, closely collaborating with hiring managers via Slack and Workable (our ATS).
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment:
- Screen and shortlist candidates from high-volume applications across multiple departments.
- Review CVs, cover letters, portfolios, and Workable applications to assess candidate fit.
- Conduct initial phone/video screenings to validate experience, skills, and cultural fit.
- Liaise with external recruiters & recruitment agencies to source quality candidates.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with recruitment partners to optimize hiring efficiency.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Ensure a structured and data-driven hiring process, maintaining high evaluation standards.
- Provide clear, data-backed recommendations on candidate advancement.
- Maintain meticulous recruitment records and collaborate closely via Slack & Workable.
Onboarding:
- Design and implement an effective onboarding program to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Coordinate onboarding schedules, welcome sessions, and orientation programs.
- Collaborate with departmental managers to ensure new hires understand their roles and responsibilities clearly.
- Act as the primary point of contact for new hires during their initial integration phase.
- Ensure new hires receive all necessary resources, equipment, and access promptly.
- Collect feedback from new hires to continuously improve onboarding processes.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For- 5 to 8 years of experience in recruitment/HR roles (preferably in jewellery, luxury, or manufacturing industries).
- Proven track record managing both recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Experience managing external recruiters/agencies alongside internal hiring processes.
- Proficiency with recruitment tools like Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Slack.
- Strong judgment and decision-making skills—ability to identify and integrate suitable candidates efficiently.
- Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
