SAP TMS Technical Architect

• Technical Architecture: Design and implement the SAP TMS architecture to meet business requirements and align with best practices.
• System Configuration: Oversee and perform the configuration of SAP TMS modules, including master data setup, transportation planning, freight management, and carrier integration.
• Custom Development: Develop and manage custom enhancements, interfaces, and reports in SAP TMS using ABAP and other tools.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration of SAP TMS with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP EWM, SAP MM, SAP SD) and third-party logistics/transportation systems.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address any system bottlenecks or issues to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability of the SAP TMS environment.
• Project Leadership: Work closely with project managers, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to lead the technical aspects of SAP TMS implementations.
• Solution Design: Create detailed solution designs and technical specifications for all TMS functionalities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for SAP TMS solutions post-go-live.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP TMS configurations, custom developments, and integration scenarios.
• Team Leadership: Lead technical teams, providing guidance and mentorship to developers, consultants, and junior architects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP TMS implementations and technical architecture.
• Strong expertise inSAP TMS configuration, integration, and custom development.
• Proven experience infull-cycle SAP TMS implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, and go-live.
• Hands-on experience withABAP programming, BADI (Business Add-Ins), and other technical tools in SAP.
• Knowledge of transportation processes, including freight management, planning, and execution.
• Familiarity withSAP S/4HANAand its impact on TMS implementations.
• Strong understanding of integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP EWM) and external systems (e.g., third-party logistics providers, carriers).
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience inperformance tuningand optimization of SAP TMS systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience withFioriapps and mobile solutions for SAP TMS.
• Knowledge ofsupply chain logisticsprocesses and best practices.
• Experience with automation and IoT integration in transportation management.
• Certification in SAP TMS or SAP S/4HANA.
