Quality Control Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment.You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.
The work model for the role is: #LI -Onsite.
This role is contributing to Our Electrification Business in India.
You will be mainly accountable for:- Conducting test protocols, as assigned, to ensure products, systems, or software meet specified requirements and
routine and Factory Acceptance Testing (F.A.T.) as applicable.
- Supporting quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing and validation, and
- Executing and assisting specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions,
- Collecting, recording, and evaluating data to be interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer
- Attending to customer complaint tickets and ensure that they are responded in
- Interact with zonal service engineers, factory quality team, complaint logging team
- Analyzing the defective received from customer and providing 8D/Analysis report
to the customer.
Qualifications for the role- BE/Btech in Electrical with 5+ years of work experience
- Knowledge of low voltage switchgear products like ACB, MCCB, Switches, Fuse gear, Control gear, pilot devices,
- soft starter, UPS etc.
- Must have knowledge and skills
- embedded hardware design
- analog and mixed signal electronics, power
- electronics.
- Ability to analyze waveforms captured on above devices.
