Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Engineering Ownership:
- Lead the engineering stack end-to-end, including Data Engineering and MLOps.
- Architect and maintain scalable, high-availability software systems.
Leadership:
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and analysts.
- Drive regular performance reviews and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
Product Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products.
- Translate product requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
Operations & Service Delivery:
- Ensure 24x7 uptime and reliability of critical services for power utilities.
- Take ownership of operational excellence and delivery SLAs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in Python with expertise in data engineering and machine learning deployments.
- Experience with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, and other NoSQL systems.
- Prior experience building and managing high-availability, production-grade systems.
- Solid foundation in software architecture, design principles, and system modeling.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
- 4–5 years of experience building scalable backend systems.
- 2–3 years of experience leading engineering teams.
- Strong analytical mindset and a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
