Senior Program Manager , Packaging, Concession reduction

This role is located in Bangalore.

• Performing dive deeps into the multiple elements that govern the decision making behind the fulfilment logic for every Amazon order, across all fulfilment channels to reduce cost of business waste- Damage concession
• Working closely with a multitude of stakeholders to come up with initiatives to reduce cost, improve process capability, and taking them through senior leadership for guidance and ultimately approval.
• Working very closely with the other geos of Amazon operations, understanding their strategies for improving customer experience.
• Working very closely with product teams to see through the product interventions needed for the program to scale and have a substantial impact box fitment logic.
• Working closely with operations, finance category and technical solution design team to manage short term commitments to overall goals, and making sure they stay on track.
• Benchmarking our practices with the best in class (whether internal or external), and using it to own and influence the long term vision.
• Managing cross-functional project teams, planning and organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders to enable the launch of new projects, and processes.
• Innovating to improve customer experience, and relentlessly working towards contributing to the sustainability goals of Amazon.
• Acting as single point of contact for from operations team for any discussions pertaining to Damage reduction program.

• High ability to influence stakeholders without authority, and march them along towards a common agenda.
• High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
• Ability to work through an ambiguous maze of puzzle, and finding a way through it by breaking the problem to its elemental level.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
• Ability to write simple and effective documents, for presentation to and review by senior leaders.
• Demonstrated ability of working with product managers to deliver the needed tech interventions.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience
• 3+ years of data analysis experience
• 5+ years of change management experience
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Master's degree, or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing
• Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
