We are looking for enthusiastic engineers for a Software Developer in Test position to join the Trimble Connect Engineering team in Chennai, India. This position is a permanent and full-time position located in Trimble Information Technologies India private Limited in Chennai, India.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Being part in defining, building and maintaining globally used cloud solutions
- Active participation in team responsibilities and process development in globally distributed organization
- Primary responsibility of writing frameworks and tools to test products, combining the building aspect of software design engineering with the breaking aspect of software test engineering.
- Work with Software Development Engineers and Quality Assurance Engineers to understand project features, review technical designs, and implement automated test tools that help deliver quality features with efficiency
- Experience testing WebServices, REST APIs, multi-tier web components
- Perform functional, design, regression, accessibility, and performance testing
- Identify, isolate, regress and communicate issues/defects with detailed reproduction steps
- Analyze test logs create test reports, and coordinate with stakeholders
- Ability to respond to support-reported bugs to obtain relevant information in order to reproduce the reported issues.
- Experience with using frameworks such as Pytest, TestNG, Selenium, Postman
- 2+ years of QA testing experience, including working on automation frameworks
- Hands on experience using tools like JIRA, Jenkins.
- Strong coding skills using Python and/or C#
- Demonstrable proficiency with a wide variety of Amazon Web Services (AWS) such as S3, EC2, and IAM
- Security testing and performance experience is a plus
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
- Ability to work in a team environment, work with and motivate others
