Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CCIE Certified Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of advanced networking solutions across enterprise networking, data centers, wireless networks, Identity Services Engine (ISE), and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, proven hands-on experience, and a track record of delivering robust and scalable network solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Network Design and Architecture:
  • Develop comprehensive network architectures to support enterprise, data center, and wireless environments.
  • Design and implement secure and scalable network solutions, including Cisco ACI, ISE, and advanced routing/switching.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network design with business objectives and technical requirements.
  1. Enterprise Networking:
  • Architect and deploy complex Layer 2/Layer 3 networks, including LAN/WAN, MPLS, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Optimize network performance by conducting regular audits, implementing QoS, and addressing latency and congestion issues.
  • Ensure redundancy and high availability through failover mechanisms like HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
  1. Data Center Networking:
  • Design and manage data center networking solutions using Cisco ACI, Nexus switches, and Spine-Leaf architecture.
  • Configure and maintain advanced data center technologies like VXLAN, EVPN, and multi-fabric connectivity.
  • Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline data center operations.
  1. Wireless Networking:
  • Lead the deployment and management of enterprise wireless networks with seamless connectivity and optimized performance.
  • Configure wireless LAN controllers, access points, and security protocols to support mobility and IoT devices.
  • Troubleshoot wireless issues and implement solutions to ensure robust and secure wireless access.
  1. Identity Services Engine (ISE):
  • Architect and deploy Cisco ISE for network access control, BYOD, and identity management.
  • Develop and implement 802.1X authentication policies, posture assessments, and endpoint profiling.
  • Monitor and manage access policies to meet compliance and security standards.
  1. Network Operations and Security:
  • Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, ACLs, and segmentation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify and mitigate potential threats.
  • Provide guidance for the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  1. Collaboration and Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and training.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for escalated network issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Work with stakeholders to assess current and future networking needs and propose upgrades or new solutions.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and processes.
  • Provide regular status updates, reports, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in networking.

Required Qualifications:

  • Certification: Active CCIE in Enterprise Infrastructure, Data Center, or Security.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in network architecture and engineering.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of Cisco ACI, ISE, Nexus switches, and Catalyst platforms.
  • Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies.
  • Proficiency in wireless network design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of SDN, NFV, and virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools (Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, etc.).
